| Last Thursday night at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, the New York City Ballet celebrated the company’s 50th Anniversary at Lincoln Center with a nod to the past, and a look to the future. The one-time-only gala program featured works that were performed during the theater’s inaugural performances in 1964, and world premiere ballet by choreographer and NYCB Soloist Justin Peck, set to a commissioned score by Sufjan Stevens. More than 1000 guests attended the gala, and the event raised over $3 million for the Company. Among the highlights of the program were Kristen Bell and Aaron Lazar performing an excerpt from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s 1945 Broadway musical Carousel (performed at the 1964 inaugural performance by The Music Theater of Lincoln Center, one of the original resident companies of the New York State Theater); George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante (created in 1956 to music by Tschaikovsky) Igor Stravinsky’s Fanfare for a New Theater (composed in 1964 for the opening of the theater). |

| At the event, the New York City Ballet’s leading Corporate Sponsor Vacheron Constantin unveiled three unique ballet-themed timepieces, which were on display in the theater. NYCB Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins, NYCB Executive Director Katherine Brown and numerous dancers from NYCB also wore watches from the Vacheron Constantin collection. Julia and David Koch were honorary chairs of the evening. The evening was catered by Glorious Food, décor by DeJuan Stroud, and music by Donna D'Cruz. | NYU Langone Medical Center raised more than $6.2 million last Thursday night at its annual Violet Ball held at Cipriani on 42nd Street in New York City. This year the president and COO of Goldman Sachs, Gary D. Cohn, who also serves as an NYU Langone trustee and chair of the NYU Langone Musculoskeletal Advisory Board, and his wife Lisa Pevaroff-Cohn, an artist and designer, were honored for their years of dedication to the Medical Center. The funds raised will create full scholarships for talented medical students on behalf of the Cohns. For more than 15 years, the Cohns’ leadership and generosity have touched many areas of NYU Langone, helping to spur advances in research, education, and patient care. Together they funded the Pevaroff Cohn Professorship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine. |

| Addressing an audience of more than 550 guests, Robert I. Grossman, MD, the Saul J. Farber Dean and CEO of NYU Langone Medical Center said, “Let me start with a special note of gratitude to our honorees this evening, Gary Cohn and his wonderfully talented wife Lisa. It’s deeply meaningful to me that the proceeds raised tonight, due in no small part to Lisa and Gary, will be distributed to worthy students in the form of Gary and Lisa Cohn scholarships. I’m convinced that making medical school affordable to the most talented people, regardless of means, is the surest way to attract the best and the brightest.” In addition to the Cohns, Dr. Grossman thanked the many great supporters of NYU Langone present, stating, “Behind each great NYU Langone milestone are profoundly dedicated, generous, and tenacious benefactors to whom we, and above all our patients and their families, owe tremendous gratitude.” |

| On May 9th at the Plaza Hotel, The French-American Aid For Children (FAAFC) honored Baccarat for 60 years of dedicated support in helping disadvantaged children around the world at its annual Bal des Berceaux debutante celebration. The Bal des Berceaux is an annual fundraiser that raises money for seven charities in the US and France. This year’s dignitaries included Francois Delattre, Ambassador of France to the United States and Bertrand Lortholary, General Consul of France in New York. The Master of Ceremonies was Television broadcast journalist and author Mark Ellwood. |

| All funds raised from the event will be dispersed to charities in the US and France. The US charities include: • The Children's Storefront: a private, tuition-free school in Harlem with programs from pre-school to 8th grade; • The Children's Village: a residential care and treatment center for neglected, battered and abused children in judicial care, reeducating families to help reintegrate children back into a safe home life; and • Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club: an after-school activity center in the Bronx where teens and youngsters learn to recognize and develop their potentials. |

| The annual Bal des Berceaux was first held in 1942 and has been FAAFC's main fundraising event since. Half a million dollars was raised at last year’s Bal des Berceaux. All funds are used to further FAAFC’s mission. The event attracts French and American dignitaries, New York and community leaders from around the world. Each year an international group of debutantes make their introduction into society. This year debutantes are Jasmine Bissete, Eva DiNoia Mantione, Clémence Grosgogeat, Albane Imperiali, Caroline Jeanmaire, Pauline de Montebello and Krista Salmasi. The Ball is chaired by FAAFC’s President, Marguerite Mangin, and Co-chairs, Véronique Bich and Elisabeth Cros. The Live Auction, conducted by Nicholas Lowry from Swann Galleries, featured items donated by Air France, Altour, Baccarat, Caudalie, Chanel, Daniel Boulud, Delta, Hotel Le Bristol, La Mamounia, Lynch Bages & Cie, Pernod Ricard, Piper Heidsieck, Radisson Royal Hotels, Ralph Lauren, Rancho La Puerta, Zilli, among many others. |

| On Wednesday, April 23rd at the Metropolitan Club, over 300 guests attended Madison Square Boys & Girls Club's 9th Annual Purses & Pursenalities Luncheon—a silent auction of handbags from today’s hottest designers. The luncheon raised over $150k to benefit its four clubhouses in Brooklyn and the Bronx. The event honored fashion-favorites Elaine Turner, Laura Vela, and Yliana Yepez, along with Chuck Scarborough.
